WELCOME TO OUR CLASSROOM!

Thank you to the 14 families from Miss Schmidt's class who attended the Back-to-School Bash! I enjoyed meeting my students and their families. If you were not able to attend, I look forward to meeting you on the first day of school.
  • WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

As a parent, I know that you are wondering what to expect from your child's first days of school. I dedicate a lot of time the first week to building a strong learning community. We will get to know one another, establish our classroom rules, and set personal and classroom goals. It will be a busy but productive first week!
  • HOMEWORK POLICY

Students in my classroom will have a weekly homework packet in addition to their daily reading. Homework packets review the skills that we have been working on in class and show me which students have mastered these skills and who needs more instruction or practice. If your child loses his/her homework packet, I have several activities that I will accept. For more information, please see our classroom forms page.

I will be updating our classroom website frequently throughout the year. If there is any content that you would like to see, or if you experience any problems, please contact me via email.
